Description

APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Design and develop cutting-edge technologies that drive innovation. Contribute in areas including but not limited to: full-stack web development, dev-ops, cloud deployment, data analytics, and low-level HW/SW interface. Manage infrastructure projects from development to deployment and support cross-functional engineering efforts to meet teams' goals. Work closely with the team in a collaborative environment, review specifications and needs, and architect and develop new methodologies for solving complex problems. Assist with bringing up physical and virtual prototypes for Apple's state-of-the-art chips. Develop, implement and maintain FPGA tools and infrastructure to support almost all chips done at Apple. Develop, implement and maintain Emulation tools and infrastructure to support different platforms from multiple vendors. Develop, maintain, and enhance infrastructure to support all Platform Engineering labs, including but not limited to lab device orchestration, network infrastructure, and OS imaging. Contribute to the team's repository of documentation related to new features, support, etc. Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation of current tech stack, specifically keeping our suite of tools up to date on the latest features available with React, Django, etc. Debug and resolve blocking issues. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 - $214,500/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.

  • Education and/or experience must include each of the following skills:

  • Utilizing Python to work on backend/server related code bases

  • Utilizing Django to develop efficient backend features.

  • Utilizing Javascript to work on frontend/client-related codebases

  • Utilizing React to develop client-facing services such as GUIs.

  • Understanding of Docker in order to develop container images.

  • Understanding of cloud-based deployment environments like Kubernetes.

  • Using load balancer technologies.

  • Using relational databases like SQL support server-side data management

  • Using non-relational databases like MongoDB to support blob-type data management.
