POSITION SUMMARY
 
Responsible to clean and sanitize all cookware, tableware, equipment and surfaces throughout the kitchen area. 
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 
 
The essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Cleans and sanitizes all dishes, pots, and pans by utilizing dish machine and pot sink
• Cleans and sanitizes counters, tables, cabinets, equipment, sinks, ranges, ovens and floors throughout the kitchen area.
• Responsible for the organization, cleanliness and sanitation of the dish room area.
• Requisitions supplies as needed to carry out responsibilities.
• Performs other tasks such as the assisting in food preparation, putting away deliveries, cleaning coolers, freezers, and store rooms, and plating up food for banquets and parties as needed.

 
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE          
 
Must be at least 16 years of age. No experience required, however previous related experience is a plus.  Must be able to lift, carry and move up to 50 pounds and walk/stand for long periods of time.
