Description

We are seeking a highly motivated PR manager to drive consumer-focused storytelling with a focus on priority moments including product launches, key seasonal moments, and cross-org activations. The successful candidate will work closely with teams across Apple PR, while also expanding and deepening the already vast network of trusted voices, outlets and platforms within our media relations network. This role also requires strong communication and project management skills, a passion for Apple, and the ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in public relations.

  • Strong media relations skills exhibited through day-to-day pitching and a deep understanding of creating and executing effective briefs.

  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Fluency in English required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree/University education in media and communications.

  • Ability to deepen existing and establish new relationships across storytelling platforms with a focus on culture, lifestyle and general interest.

  • Proactive in creative cross-platform story ideas that map back to overarching priorities and key moments.

  • Ability to oversee the activity, media strategy and comms of consumer-focused activity across a multi-phased plan..

  • Project management skills for high-profile media activity from events to curated intimate experiences.

  • Clear understanding of internal and external stakeholder requirements, expectations, and needs.

  • Experience in latest trends, such as newsletters and the creator space.

  • Track record of successfully delivering creative PR campaigns that have resulted in meaningful impact.

  • Self-motivated, possess a positive team-player attitude, and highly passionate about consumer technology.

  • Self-starter who demonstrates creative and critical thinking abilities.
