Job Description
Purpose
The Global Process Lead (GPL) Senior Manager, Record to Report (RTR, is part of Finance Shared Services and provides direction, guidance, and governance on AbbVie’s RTR business processes and systems. This role is responsible for leading cross functional projects in the RTR space under the Continuous Improvement Requests (CIR) process, ensuring alignment to the Global Operating Model for changes requested to SAP and compliance with accounting policies and procedures. This role partners with other functional teams across the AbbVie network including BTS, Commercial Finance, Supply Chain, Transfer Pricing, Finance Master Data, Material Master, and other GPL teams.
Responsibilities
Provides guidance regarding the target operating model to teams across the AbbVie network such as FSS RTR Operations, Commercial Affiliates, VLOG, and Mfg. Operations Finance.
Manages RTR component of business integrations, as required
Manages the CIR process for assigned projects, providing feasibility and requirement analysis
Works cross functionally within FSS and with GPLs from other organizations to implement solutions to enhance or streamline business processes
Gathers and document business requirements
Collaborates with BTS to identify the best system solution and process, estimated cost, and timing for the CIR implementation
Tests new SAP functionality to ensure requirements are met
Presents analyzed CIRs to Management for final approval
Posts approval – manage the CIR implementation to completion, with communication and documentation provided to business users.
Updates existing SOPs and Work Instructions as necessary if impacted by enhancements or create new documents for entirely new processes.
Ensures compliance with SOX controls, internal/external audit requirements
Provides day-to-day support across AbbVie network on various process issues. Work with BTS to address, analyze, and resolve open tickets.
Supports OTC (Order to Cash) CIR’s as RTR SME for Commercial projects
Manages revenue accounting setup in SAP together with RTR BTS
Manages maintenance of reason codes and maintain reason code control table in SAP
Manages the RTR process of new eCommerce merchants and maintain GPL GL mapping table in SAP
Supports US Commercial Pharma and AA Finance in revenue accounting setup in SAP
Supports RTR and OTC BTS with revenue accounting related SNOW tickets
Reviews and updates RTR SOPs impacted by integration or other business or legal driven projects
Supports Finance Transformation projects for FSS
Qualifications
BS or BA in Finance / Accounting, CPA preferred
8-10+ years of financial and/or operational experience (experience at a managerial level preferred)
Demonstrated success in leading projects and/or teams
Ability to interact with and support senior level management and to partner effectively and independently across finance and other groups
Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and effectively manage deadlines
Continuous improvement mindset, and ability to drive and manage change
Excellent communication and verbal and written presentation skills
Professional proficiency in English
Project management experience a plus

Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
