Job Description
Purpose
The Manager, Procurement Crisis Management is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining robust crisis management activities and protocols to protect the organization’s product and services operations. This role requires proactive identification and mitigation of potential crisis scenarios, assessing potential impacts and driving the organization’s effective response to any disruptions in procurement activities.
Responsibilities
Design and establish comprehensive crisis management frameworks to preemptively identify and address potential procurement disruptions.
Develop, refine and update company assessment profiles.
Demonstrate understanding of Supplier Financials and financial stability to provide Supplier Financial Assessment Profiles.
Innovate and improve crisis simulation models to evaluate and enhance the organization's crisis response capabilities.
Implement and standardize crisis management procedures across all procurement functions, ensuring uniformity and effectiveness.
Facilitate crisis management training and simulations for procurement staff to ensure readiness and adept response capabilities.
Conduct regular assessments and updates of crisis management plans, incorporating new insights and adapting to changing risk landscapes.
Generate and analyze crisis response metrics to evaluate effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
Establish and maintain robust communication channels with internal and external stakeholders for efficient information dissemination during crises.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure a unified approach to crisis management and response across the organization.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field. Master’s degree is preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or related business or operations function.
Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and managing internal business and functional stakeholders.
Experience informing and executing crisis management strategies in a procurement, supply chain, or data analytics function.
Experience leading and coordinating responses to crises and familiarity with best practices for risk management.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
