The mission of the Content Analytics Lead is to prioritize and optimize Apple TV+’s original content across the team’s efforts in subscriber acquisition, engagement and retention. The content analytics role is to build cross-functional frameworks, metrics, and quantitative approaches to evaluating content performance against goals, building robust models to quantify the lift in media optimization, advocating for individual content success while keeping in mind overall service growth across subscriber acquisition, engagement, and retention efforts.

The right person for this role has outstanding analytical capabilities, loves solving ambiguous problems, ability to tell a story with data both verbally and visually, and is passionate about television and movie content. Description

  • Conduct in-depth analytics to inform scheduling decisions, launch strategies, and programming for key partners.

  • Analyze content performance using third-party data tools (e.g., Nielsen) to identify growth opportunities and optimize efficiency.

  • Proactively surface viewership trends to support strategic decision-making.

  • Build expertise in industry trends and competitive performance, translating insights into actionable recommendations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on analytical experience, with a focus on deriving strategic insights

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the media and entertainment industry (streaming preferred)

  • Minimum of 3 years experience working with Nielsen data tools

  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and Tableau

  • Strong communication skills and comfort presenting complex data

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Analytics, Data Science)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters Degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., Analytics, Data Science)

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $119,200 and $225,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
