How will you make an impact in this role?
The Executive Recruitment team serves as trusted advisors to senior leaders and Colleague Strategic Partners across all business units and functions globally, supporting the recruitment of exceptional external talent at the executive level (Vice President and above). The team identifies, engages, assesses and attracts high potential senior leaders from the external marketplace both directly and through internal and external partnerships.
Reporting to a Director of Executive Recruitment, the Executive Recruitment Coordinator is a critical member of the team, serving as the primary point of contact for candidates, hiring leaders, teams across the Colleague Experience Group and various partners through the recruitment process, with a commitment to delivering an exceptional experience for all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the executive recruitment process from end-to-end, overseeing all logistics from role initiation to onboarding
Facilitate and schedule multi-stage interviews and meetings globally
Provide a seamless, high-touch, personalized experience to candidates, senior leaders, internal and external partners.
Build strong, trust-based relationships across the company at various levels
Represent and embody the American Express brand and values in all interactions with candidates, colleagues, and external partners
Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, with a commitment to excellence
Support the creation and implementation of key cross-functional initiatives and projects
Qualifications:
Excellent relationship and interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence colleagues, challenge the status quo, and confront difficult issues with senior level leaders
Proven experience in full lifecycle, corporate recruiting or related experience; preferably with exposure to financial services or operations preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications
Experience with recruitment tools, technologies, and platforms such as Taleo preferred
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with flawless attention to detail is essential
Ability to collaborate with candidates, hiring leaders and teammates in an engaging and persuasive manner
Ability to perform administrative and project management related activities
Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
Ability to effectively navigate ambiguity by exercising sound judgment, anticipating and solving problems, and being resourceful with the ability to maintain composure under pressure
Excellent attention to detail with a proven ability to problem solve
Experience handling and maintaining highly confidential information with discretion
Qualifications
Salary Range: $20.00 to $38.45 hourly bonus benefits
