How will you make an impact in this role?

Digital acquisition is one of Amex’s top priorities. Core to delivering on this priority are card and banking application and onboarding experiences that enable our customers to apply for our products with the least amount of effort, wherever and however they choose to apply. In addition to an enormous emphasis on users and usability, our team is responsible for ensuring that we attract and engage the right prospects and fit them with the right products that serve their needs.

Strategic thought-leader to establish and lead a program designed to drive an aligned enterprise vision for the Prospect Marketing Platform (PMP), bringing together key stakeholders and decision makers across various Product, Technology, Modeling, and BU partner teams. The PMP is a critical platform leveraged by multiple teams to enable data, capabilities, campaigns, and models that drive the prospect marketing engine for Amex. The role requires advanced communication skills and the ability to bring others along while holding teams accountable to the broader strategy. The role will also lead a team of Subject matter experts who design and implement best practices to manage use cases, data management and governance of the platform.

You will be responsible for:

As Director, Prospect Marketing Platform you will:

  • Establish and lead program to drive an aligned enterprise vision for the prospect marketing platform, bringing together key stakeholders and decision makers, defining a governance and operating model, bringing visibility to platform and product needs to drive strategic platform decisions with major stakeholders.

  • Maintain unified program roadmaps and tracks initiatives across Product teams to meet timelines and identify risks and dependencies relative to the platform needs

  • Lead the platform governance process to ensure products meet the needs of all relevant stakeholders

  • Assessment & Prioritization of platform requirements across use cases and brainstorm architectural solutions.

  • Collaborate closely with business partners to assess new ideas, services, and leading-edge capabilities to inform the platform roadmap

  • Own key stakeholder relationships across journey experience, compliance, engineering, and program management.

Qualifications

  • Ability to manage and drive complex and high-profile projects end-to-end and provide regular communications to a diverse set of stakeholders and senior leaders

  • Extensive Product Management experience in an Agile environment (7 years) and with Data products and platforms.

  • Proven ability to craft, drive, and maintain a product vision, strategy, and prioritized backlog.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Able to simplify complex ideas, navigate cross-functional teams and build relationships, influence decisions, and deliver on shared objectives.

  • Ability to influence stakeholders at and above band level based on aligned principles, data driven analysis, and appropriate escalation

  • Ability to coach and motivate a product team and foster a diverse and inclusive team culture, encouraging input from all team members.

  • Ability to self-start, carve opportunities out of ambiguity, and operate with a high degree of independence.

  • Ability to manage operating budget for multiple projects and oversee resource allocation

  • Experience working in a regulated environment with an understanding of compliance, control, data governance and integrity processes is a plus.

  • A good balance of technical knowledge and business acumen.

  • Minimum: Bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree or MBA is a plus

Qualifications

Salary Range: $150,000.00 to $225,000.00 annually bonus equity (if applicable) benefits
