Claris, a wholly owned subsidiary of Apple, is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated developer who will be part of a small, dynamic, DevOps team.

Description

  • Contribute to internal-facing and external-facing AI driven innovations.
  • Sustain and enhance software applications per business logic and requirements for licensing and fulfillment.
  • Build and automate software delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and integrate with unit and smoke tests.
  • Help to stabilize all the environments and deploy to production environment when releases are ready.
  • Set up various environments in public cloud utilizing applicable services from Amazon and/or Google.
  • Follow Apple Information Security requirements to engineer solutions in order to stay compliant in public cloud.
  • Automate environment setup and verification including application specific software and components.
  • Design and implement infrastructure and web application monitoring and respond to incidents.
  • Work with Customer Support, QA, Development, Product Management and cross-functional teams to help with customer issues investigation and resolution.
  • Work on-call shifts to respond to security and infrastructure incidents or customer issues to ensure there is no service interruption.
  • Understand web-based security and help to design and implement solutions to prevent and catch attacks.
  • Participate in DevOps project brainstorming, design, implementation, and test phases to deliver effective solutions.
  • Participate and share progress through Scrum Ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Continue to learn leading edge technologies to evolve solutions.
  • Report status, conduct demos, share knowledge, and help team members with workload.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent, preferably master’s degree.

  • Hands-on working experiences in setting up AI-enabled tooling/system or integration of such components.

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in Development/DevOps/Infrastructure/IT area.

  • 2+ year of public cloud working experience. AWS certificate a plus.

  • Languages: Python, Unix shell scripts, SQL, Java Script, Go, HTML, CSS.

  • Operating Systems: Linux/Unix.

  • Containerization & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.

  • CI/CD and Automation Tools: Jenkins, Terraform, and Helm.

  • Cloud Platforms: AWS, GCP.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Good organizational skills to complete and follow up with tasks and action items.

  • Dedicated, innovative, accountable, and willing to take challenges and risks.

  • Collaborative and thorough with attention to details.

  • Security framework: Public Key Cryptography, encryption, and Certificates.

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $139,500 and $210,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
