We are currently seeking a Senior PR Manager for our Communications team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the communications strategy and proactively managing activity with media and influencers to drive understanding and excitement around Apple Products. This role will focus on launch, planning and liaising with teams that bring to life a product launch and project managing the process.
Description
The successful candidate will bring energy, ideas and an appetite to bring fresh storytelling ideas to fruition, and will work collaboratively with a variety of other teams and functions to create and deliver the activity that increases awareness and understanding. This may include other PR managers, country PR Managers, Product Marketing, Events and Marcom.
You will help us find new ways of working across functionally, optimize processes and clarity around planning, and will be tasked with leading our efforts comprehensively and presenting the PR voice in the launch window.
Minimum Qualifications
7+ years of experience in communications
Past leadership experience, managing and developing teams
Fluency in English
Preferred Qualifications
BS/BA or equivalent experience
Effectively builds formal and informal relationship networks inside and outside the organization.
Develops and delivers effective communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
Analyses complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.
Understands internal and external stakeholder requirements, expectations, and needs.
Experience in media relations and have developed a network of media contacts in technology, consumer, lifestyle spaces.
Experience in the latest trends in podcasting, newsletters and growing needs in creator space.
Successfully delivered creative PR campaigns that have created meaningful impact.
Self-motivated, possess a positive team-player attitude and passionate about consumer technology. Self-starter who is dedicated and demonstrates creative and critical thinking abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Superb attention to detail.
Able to work with ambiguity and on complex topics across multiple jurisdictions. Skilled in multi-tasking, delivering under tight timelines, adapting quickly to change.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $185,800 and $279,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
