Our main goal is to deliver a magical, personal digital experience where customers can shop, buy and learn everything Apple, wherever they are. The Senior Manager, ASO Readiness will lead high-performing teams responsible for strategizing, planning and successfully managing the launch of Apple products and programs worldwide. Aligning people, process and technologies, the teams will ensure the integrity of the launch moment and enhanced by delivering an exceptional customer experience. This leader is the advocate for the customer and represents the voice of ASO with partner teams, across Product Marketing, Marcom, Supply Chain Operations, Commercial, Finance, Digital Experience & Merchandising, Customer Care, Engineering, Legal and external partners.

The Senior Manager, ASO Readiness is a natural leader and facilitator; a strategic problem solver who can “connect the dots” at multiple levels; is driven, organized and detail oriented; communicates with ease at all levels; is adept at facilitating actions and resolving conflicts; manages through relationships and influence; thrives in a dynamic ambiguous environment; and displays grace under fire.

In this role, you will be responsible managing and mentoring managers and individual contributors to deliver strategic Apple and Retail priorities.

Responsibilities of the team include: stitching across multiple cross-functional regional and global teams, ensuring alignment of plans and objectives, continuously tracking and mitigating risks, and delivering flawlessly for customers worldwide, with deep functional and technical knowledge of end-to-end Online operations.

The Senior Manager, ASO Readiness owns and is accountable for the integrity of the Apple product launches, promotions and critical retail priorities, and ensures a seamless and best in class end-to-end online experience.

Responsibilities include:

  • Change agent. Leading high-performance & high-impact teams, through highly ambiguous and fast-moving, and confidential workstreams. Leading teams through fast-evolving corporate and organizational priorities.

  • Manage communications with leadership teams, presenting complex topics and influencing strategic decisions

  • Develop clarity of vision for their team/function and inspires teams to action

  • Drive for closed loop management system, with a continuous focus on process improvements, efficiency, agility, and scalability

  • Promote a culture of steadfast pursuit of excellence, focused on agility and innovative solutions

  • Cultivate a positive and motivating work environment by promoting teamwork, diversity, inclusion and positive employee relationships. Coach, guide and develop each individual in their growth and career journey.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years people management experience including 3+ years managing managers/senior individual contributors, responsible for leading a large team of people or large/complex activities within their portfolios

  • Proven ability to lead by example and develop team members

  • Experience implementing projects or initiatives showcasing strong influencing skills & coordinating members from varying teams to work towards one goal/outcome

  • Experience working cross-functionally across multiple levels of a highly matrixed organization

  • Strong analytical capabilities with good business insight

  • English business proficiency

  • BA/BS in Business Management or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in eCommerce, Internet, or multi-channel environment with relevant technical and business acumen.

  • Demonstrated success in influencing strategy and direction through data driven insights.

  • Exceptional communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.

  • Experience with org design, talent calibration & development

  • MBA/MA or advanced degree preferred

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $222,600 and $334,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
