Seeking an Associate – Technology Risk & Control within our Global Infrastructure - Distributed Infrastructure & Data Services organization. You will focus on Compliance, Risk and Audit priorities assisting with activities designed to support internal audit and regulatory requests, control testing, standard and procedure documentation, issue reporting and risk mitigation priorities. This role works closely with technology infrastructure partners, risk oversight partners and other stakeholder groups to ensure alignment, understanding and communications on IT controls, compliance and information security risk management. Works individually and with teams on both structured and unstructured assignments.
Responsibilities:
Conducts assessments to identify potential risk within the organization's technology environments, ensuring that all critical areas are evaluated for security weaknesses.
Monitors technology environments to detect and respond to emerging threats in real-time, minimizing any potential security incidents
Maintains a balanced approach towards risk management practices, ensuring alignment with the organization's risk appetite and adhering to compliance requirements and industry best practices
Develops and maintains comprehensive risk management documentation by standardizing, documenting, and consistently applying all risk management activities across the organization, under the guidance of peers and leaders
Prepares reports and documentation to support risk management activities and compliance efforts, for internal stakeholders and leaders
Conducts risk assessments to determine the residual risk within the organization's technology environments, ensuring all areas are evaluated for non-compliance
Supports the identification and evaluation of controls and adherence to controls
Collaborates and co-creates effectively with teams in infrastructure to align technology initiatives with business objectives
Qualifications:
Work experience in information risk, technology, compliance, audit or similar functions in a large technology organization
Having a Compliance Mindset and understanding a Culture of Compliance
Experience gathering/synthesizing requirements and performing data analysis
Ability to translate complex information into easily understandable terms
Aptitude to forge strong working relationships with internal and external partners
Prior experience supporting internal, external audit and regulatory requests a plus
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a member of a team
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or other related fields preferred
Certifications are a plus but not required
Qualifications
Salary Range: $78,000.00 to $124,750.00 annually bonus benefits
