Job Description
The Strategy Lead (Associate Director, Marketing) is responsible for driving the strategic direction and tactical execution of the Skyrizi and Rinvoq in Crohn’s Disease (CD) brands. With a strong strategic- analytical mindset and a passion for cross-functional collaboration, the successful candidate will manage the 1-7-5 Integrated Brand Plan (IBP) process. Reporting to the CD INTL Brand Team Lead. This role is pivotal in aligning stakeholders, coordinating project milestones, and leading the brand strategy for optimal outcomes.
Role Summary: This role is responsible for driving the CD brand and tactical planning processes, coordinating monthly affiliate touchpoints, leading CD advisory boards, managing strategic meeting content, and leading marketing insights initiatives in coordination with the UC strategic lead.
Responsibilities:
CD Brand Planning Process:
Lead strategic discussions cross-functionally to shape a successful future strategy.
Communicate and socialize the strategy with IMCO leadership and affiliates globally.
CD Tactical Planning Process:
Develop a comprehensive yearly tactical plan with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with Brand's strategic priorities.
Socialize the plan with IMCO leadership and disseminate it to affiliates worldwide.
Consolidate cross-functional initiatives and create preliminary budget estimates for discussion with BTLs and budget submission.
Monthly Affiliate Touchpoints:
Coordinate with affiliates, area leads, and brand team leads to create an agenda.
Review high-level affiliate performance, address key business questions, identify business needs, and coordinate follow-up action plans.
CD Advisory Boards and Consultancy Plan:
Collaborate with differentiation leads, expert engagement lead, project manager, and contracting team to develop a yearly advisory plan.
Conduct monthly expert consultancies to address key business questions and capture market insights.
Strategic Meeting Content Lead:
Work with GM, BTLs, and cross-functional partners to draft strategic agendas and content.
Educate areas and affiliates globally on the international CD strategy and strategic priorities through international forums (e.g., BT meetings, ICLF, IMCO forum).
Marketing Insights Lead:
- Collaborate with BTLs, the marketing team, and MABI team to define market research needs, timelines, and key business questions.
Finance and Insights:
- Stay informed with the latest market trends and insights from performance metrics, Market Analysis & Business Insights (MABI), competitive intelligence (CI), congresses, and external expert (EE) insights to guide the 1-7-5 IBP process.
Qualifications
Pharmaceutical brand experience, including customer-facing activities, is required.
Demonstrated leadership experience in sales and marketing, with familiarity in using Veeva and managing the approval process.
Proficiency in multitasking, prioritizing, and exceptional time management skills.
Exhibits a positive attitude and fosters strong relationships with peers and cross-functional teams to enhance performance.
Effectively influences others, including those without direct authority.
Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Adept in finance systems and terminology understanding.
Consistently acts in accordance with ethical standards, obligations, and legal requirements.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position.
