American Express National Bank is American Express’ U.S. banking operation, representing more than 60% of the company’s revenues through consistent payments, financing, and savings products. Led by the Chief Operating Officer, AENB HQ drives the administration of programs and services provided by AENB, in partnership with Bank affiliates and executive officers. In addition, the team plays an enterprise role in driving greater consistency, effectiveness and efficiency across the first line via the AENB COO Office’s Strategic Planning, Control Management, Program Management and Governance functions.

This role will support the EVP & COO, AENB, reporting to his Chief of Staff. This role will support the executive office in building a cohesive, effective AENB HQ. This is a great opportunity to drive results in a dynamic, impactful organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and execute project plans for key executive office initiatives.

  • Provide budget support and track expenses.

  • Support planning and execution of key events including Town Halls, leadership team meetings, and EVP travel.

  • Serve as the point of contact for colleague engagement processes, initiatives, projects and goals.

  • Support the development and oversight of business plan and strategic priorities.

  • Provide strategic support on a range of complex issues and lead ad hoc strategic projects as required.

  • Support content development and presentations including team meetings, progress reviews with senior leaders, partner meetings, business reviews and other presentations as needed.

  • Work collaboratively across multiple stakeholders including partnering closely with leadership team and their MAs, and core business partners.

  • Excellent organization, process management and time management skills

  • Intellectual curiosity and ability to learn quickly

  • Demonstrated strategic capability, with strong attention to detail

  • Ability to craft compelling and effective presentations and materials, and break down complex ideas into understandable and actionable messages

  • Strong team player with ability to build relationships and influence decisions to drive results

  • Ability to balance multiple priorities with tight deadlines while remaining flexible

  • Maintain strict confidentiality and operate with the highest levels of integrity

Qualifications

Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually bonus benefits

The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we’ll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
