Apple's Manufacturing Systems & Infrastructure (MSI) team is responsible for gathering, consolidating and tracking all manufacturing data for Apple’s products and modules worldwide. This data is used throughout the company and the product’s lifecycle, from the very beginning, to validate that units being built are fully tested and of high quality before leaving the factory, all of the way through to warranty support for customers. We develop cutting-edge AI and ML systems and tools that optimize manufacturing processes, enhance quality control, and drive innovation in smart manufacturing.
Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Product Manager with strong program management capabilities to lead the end-to-end lifecycle of our systems and applications while ensuring alignment with cross-functional teams and organizational goals. You will be responsible for defining product roadmap, prioritizing features based on user needs, and delivering high-quality releases on time. This role will be responsible not only for defining and shaping the product vision but also for coordinating large-scale initiatives, tracking milestones, and collaborating across engineering, design, operations, and executive stakeholders to deliver end-to-end value.
Minimum Qualifications
8+ years of experience in full life cycle Product Management of systems and applications
Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering)
Preferred Qualifications
MBA preferred
Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex requirements and build clear, actionable product roadmaps
Experience managing multiple initiatives simultaneously with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to use data to make informed decisions
Ability to handle directional change and concurrently manage multiple priorities on the roadmap
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to influence without authority
Ability to thrive in ambiguity and drive clarity across distributed teams.
Collaborates with business stakeholders and engineering teams to review designs, prioritize features, clarify scope, and negotiate trade-offs as required to meet schedule and resourcing challenges
Provides project management leadership during the implementation to ensure coordination of funding, release schedules, communicate status, issue resolution, resource alignment, and quality standards are met
Works with business stakeholders across Apple and Contract Manufacturer teams to develop launch plans and collaborate with the operations team to execute change management activities
Technical fluency and ability to collaborate closely with engineering teams (experience with APIs, cloud platforms, or data products is a bonus)
Experience in SaaS, enterprise software, or platform-based businesses is highly desirable
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $151,200 and $227,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
