This is an on-site position (Monday through Thursday) based out of our Northbrook, IL office with the flexibility to work remotely on Fridays.
In this role, you will be responsible for defining & implementing digital merchandising strategies to drive conversion and category sales. You will be executing the full life cycle of products while consistently and thoroughly overseeing proofing of the site to ensure an excellent customer experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
Build products in retailer proprietary systems, including sku set up and maintenance of sku content, including: product copy style guide, product images, videos and other assets
Move the product creation process forward by effectively partnering with merchant and creative teams (copywriters, photo studio, production, etc)
Strategically curates the selection, placement, and promotion of products on the e-commerce site, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and revenue goals.
Develops and refines merchandising rules and algorithms with a high degree of autonomy, aiming to enhance customer experience and drive key performance indicators.
Independently manages the product lifecycle on the website, including decisions on new product launches, seasonal transitions, and end-of-life product strategies.
Evaluates competitor merchandising tactics and market shifts, then independently recommends and implements strategic adjustments to maintain a competitive edge.
Support team with defining & implementing product playbook strategies within categories, by leveraging analytics & executing competitive research
Responsible for maintaining product integrity, content accuracy as well as taxonomy and categorization
Partner effectively with merchant teams to improve accuracy and completeness of product data to positively impact product findability on site
As needed, partner with Customer Research to conduct research projects with results that will ultimately influence site strategies
Rapidly troubleshoot live site issues and resolve back end and customer facing issues related to site assets and item data

Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree
Google Suite (Gmail, GoogleDrive)
1-2 years of retail, eCommerce merchandising, or related experience
Minimum Starting Rate: $55,000.00 Hourly
Up to: $70,000.00 Hourly
Pay ranges will be adjusted upward as needed to comply with applicable state and local law. In addition to your salary, based on your role, associates may be eligible for other compensation including bonuses, sales incentives, and long term incentives.
