Job Responsibilities

• Perform various tasks related to projects for our commercial clients. These often include aspects of data entry, data manipulation, data standardization, data cleansing, research, and product fulfillment.
• You will be working on meaningful projects for companies across the country that provide significant value to their organization.
• Attention to detail, the ability to stay on task, and organizational skills are required to provide this value to our commercial clients.

Required Qualifications/Expectations

• A background in working on computers. We do not expect you to be able to jump into client projects right away, but do expect you to have worked with computers in the past in some capacity. Ideal candidates will have experience working with spreadsheets (ex: Microsoft Excel) or have previously worked with data in a prior job, internship, or classroom setting.
• Be respectful. At Ventures ATL, we are a team that is committed to succeeding together. Therefore we expect our employees to respect others and be open to each other's differences. We find that patience, perspective, and appreciation are several of the values that describe a great employee.
• Be a good learner. We don't expect you to come into our office knowing everything right away. We want to help you learn and grow, and therefore expect you to be an active learner, ask questions, build on what you learn, and apply it in your work.
• Can retain focus while working through repetitive tasks.
• We have designed our business around a portfolio of services that we provide to clients in order that we can hire individuals of differing skills and abilities. Although you are not required to be able to perform all aspects of work for each of our clients, ideal candidates will be able to learn how to work on multiple types of projects.
• During the Covid-19 pandemic, the vast majprity of our work has been done remotely by our employees.  However, when we return to a more normal operational model, our employees will generally work at our which offers free parking and is also alongside a MARTA bus stop.

What to Expect

• Ventures ATL employees work in our office in Sandy Springs, GA.
• Though the work we do is for other companies, you are directly employed and paid by Ventures ATL.
• Salaries are paid on a per hour basis. You are eligible for promotions in both pay and responsibility as you gain experience and demonstrate capacity.
• A typical work week is 20 hours (4 hours per workday) although some employees work a higher number of hours. . This schedule is subject to change based on specific project requirements as well as your own personal preference.
• You will not be asked to work weekends or late nights. Typical working windows are between 9am and 5pm.
