Description

APPLE INC has the following available in Seattle, Washington. Utilize applied computer vision experience and solid engineering skills to create new experiences. Prototype, develop and experiment with computer vision techniques for search and generative AI. Define and measure objective metrics for algorithmic system performance. Understand product requirements and translate them into engineering goals and tasks. Guide data collection and labelling for train and test data sets along with defining quality gates. Build machine learning model training solutions and run systematic experiments to improve performance, borrowing ideas from research publications where appropriate and introducing novel inventions where necessary. Build systems for an end-to-end production grade stack with low latency and high throughput. Additionally build production grade monitoring and test infrastructure to ensure small down-time to deliver exceptional user experience. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $135,400 - $204,000/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Vision or related field and two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

• Two years of experience with each of the following skills is required:

• Experience with Python, C++, or other high-level languages.

• Experience with modern machine learning and computer vision techniques

• Experience in deep learning including, object segmentation, detection, recognition, and generation.

• Experience leveraging deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.

• Experience Leveraging academic (or industrial) research and publications, and experience experimenting with computer vision models to achieve quality improvements.

• Experience with industrial (or consumer-grade) computer vision systems, including experience in key components involved for optimal end-to-end performance and reliability.

• Experience in computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
