Manufacturing Technicians operate, maintain, and repair specialized processing equipment in a clean room environment.
Work is somewhat complex. You will normally receive general instructions on routine work, and detailed instructions on new work and extensive training in work responsibilities will be provided.
In addition, the Manufacturing Technician is responsible for, but not limited to:
- Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Collect and evaluate operating data to conduct online equipment adjustment and ensure process optimization.
- Suggest improvements to production line processes.
- Participate in safety forums as required.
- Provide recommendations to solve issues.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must possess at least one of the following requirements:
- High school degree, and a minimum of 12 months of hands-on related professional experience, including but not limited to professional, academic, volunteer, or other similar experience.
OR
- Military training in a technical field and a minimum of 6 months of hands-on experience.
OR
- A Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a STEM field or technical program
OR
- Actively enrolled in an accredited education program pursuing a minimum of an Associate's degree in a STEM field or technical program.
Candidate must be willing to:
**Work a day or night shift compressed work week schedule. The schedule will consist of three twelve-hour days/nights in a row followed by a fourth day/night every other week.
**Spend the majority of the day (greater than 90 percent less break time) on the factory floor working on the toolset.
**Comfortable with working with microscopes for a large portion of the workday.
**Control fine precision tools like micro tweezers under a microscope.
**Stand/sit for 9 hours.
**Walk 2-4 miles a day due to the large size of the manufacturing facility and climb a short flight of stairs.
**Lift up to 25 lbs. 5 times/day.
