We are seeking a highly analytical and proactive Finance Analyst to join our Finance Transformation team. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving financial process improvements, enhancing data visibility, and supporting strategic initiatives that optimize resource allocation and financial operations across Apple. You will collaborate closely with various finance functions and business partners, providing critical analysis and insights to support the evolution of our financial systems and processes. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to significant developments in how Apple manages its financial resources and drives efficiency.
Description
Collaborate with Finance and IS&T business partners to implement total cost of ownership model for finance systems and tools development. Coordinate effective communication of costs by domain, product, and team associated with each business unit and support development of tools required to scale efforts.
Provide business case support for investment decisions and support implementation of measurement system(s) for ROI. Provide ad hoc support across number of areas and contribute directly to new initiatives as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of relevant finance experience in a high performance organization
BS or BA in Finance, Economics, or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to interpret complex data and provide data-driven recommendations.
Extensive proficiency in Excel for financial modeling, data manipulation, and analysis.
Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau.
SQL or Python experience is a plus.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly and concisely to various audiences.
Proactive problem solver, encouraged to present problems and recommendations simultaneously
Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills; must be able to form positive relationships with business partners and peers
Ability to work comfortably with incomplete information and deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Extremely curious; is not satisfied with easy or convenient answers; drives issues to root cause
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality around product launches, financial information and other critical initiatives
