Description

The Vendor Contract Administrator opportunity is a heavy data entry role that will review, process, resolve data for Bunzl’s vendor cost contract. The Vendor Contract Administrator will also be required to update and manage the timing of changes to the rebate and item expirations for contracts.

Responsibilities:

  • Update contract data in Bunzl AS400 systems and maintain the accuracy of associated data

  • Ensure consistency and accuracy in data entry

  • Learn to understand various rebate contract arrangements

  • Cultivate partnership with internal customers and vendors regarding contract data

  • Review rebate reports and customer accounts for accuracy and timely completion

  • Develop additional responsibilities and participate in projects as directed by leadership

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required

  • Experience in data entry highly preferred, with a successful track record in problem-solving

  • Ability to work successfully in both an independent or team environment

  • Experience in Word, Excel (Smartsheet) and Outlook a plus

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to multi-task projects, establish priorities and organize workload efficiently

  • Must be detail and goal orientated

  • Previous experience financial reasoning and analytical skills in an accounting or shared services department
