Description
APPLE INC has the following available in Austin, Texas. Gather and communicate data capture requirements for business and marketing platforms that enables the technology teams to build data systems that capture the appropriate data, enabling key insights for Product Managers to manage their platforms. Conduct end-to-end analysis across all AppleCare touch points, including data gathering from large and complex datasets to support recommendations for action. Drive the generation of insights from raw, unstructured data to improve existing features and explore future directions. This includes cross linking of multiple data assets and driving cross platform analysis. Develop extensive knowledge of existing business and operational metrics that enable the organization to monitor and track performance across fiscal periods. Create new metrics for performance measurement and advocate for changes to existing metrics where needed to ensure the accurate development of reporting solutions across key areas of sales, service, repair and digital assets. Develop and maintain complex Tableau dashboards, aggregating data from multiple data sources to enable real-time trend visibility of operational metrics for business stakeholders. Support Tableau developers by writing complex SQL queries and providing easily queryable datasets in the form of Tableau extracts and database views to ensure error free and scalable daily data pulls from the base datasystems. Interface with technical teams—including DBA & engineering—to ensure proper functioning of all data pipelines and health of data warehouse. 40 hours/week.
Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering (any), or a related field and 5 years of prior work experience.
5 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:
Performing data engineering for conceptualizing, developing and maintaining data pipelines across digital platforms.
Performing data visualization and creating business dashboards using tools such as Tableau for business teams to enable easy consumption of complex data trends.
Using SQL for pulling key data, join information from multiple data systems, and develop a single view of key events across the Digital landscape.
Using Python for aggregating very large datasets, running daily data jobs and using advanced packages to handle data.
Identifying, defining, and creating business metrics, measures and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Business teams that enable them to assess the impact of their initiatives and move towards meeting their annual goals.
Additionally, experience and/or education must include:
Building and deploying statistical models using cloud-based tools and infrastructure.
