Summary

Apple is seeking a creative and execution-oriented Director of Worldwide Product Marketing (WWPM) to drive the strategy and support the execution for our groundbreaking work in audio and vision wearables. This is an opportunity to shape the future of how hundreds of millions of users see and experience the world. You will be a key voice in defining the strategy, product roadmap, story-telling, partnerships, and launch for two exciting lines of business.

Description

As the lead for AirPods and Vision Products, you will have the opportunity to make an impact on customers around the globe. You will be responsible for developing and implementing an innovative and comprehensive roadmap and product marketing strategy for two lines of business ripe for innovation. You will lead a high-performing team of product marketing professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making. The role is part of the WWPM leadership team reporting to the Vice President of WWPM.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in product marketing, with a significant focus on audio, wearables and/or AR/VR technologies.

  • Experience leading and managing high-performing teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of audio, wearables and spatial computing, trends, and applications, with a demonstrated ability to articulate a compelling vision for the future. Ability to “see around corners” and help anticipate developments in a fast-moving domain.

  • Ability to analyze market data, customer insights, and competitive intelligence to inform strategic decision-making.

  • Ability to develop a comprehensive strategy and translate it into actionable plans with measurable results.

  • Proven customer focus and curiosity.

  • Experience positioning, launching, and pricing consumer hardware products.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.

  • Demonstrated business acumen, including the ability to trade off priorities in service of the business.

  • Structured thinker with a strong analytics background.

  • Self-starter, ability to focus and execute with an eye for details.

  • A deep appreciation for Apple's values and a commitment to delivering exceptional products and experiences to our customers.

  • A sense of humor and the ability to handle ambiguity with grace.
