Role Overview
The Analytics, Investment & Marketing Enablement (AIM) team within the GCS Marketing Organization is the analytical powerhouse enabling profitable growth for the Global Commercial Services business. As AMEX advances its GenAI strategy, this role focuses on uplifting customer targeting & personalization solutions in Flywheel ecosystem by embedding Generative AI, LLM-powered decision making, intelligent automation, and advanced predictive modeling across SME customer journeys.
This B35 role—based out of New York—will be responsible for leveraging GenAI to transform customer targeting strategies, accelerate insights, enhance personalization, and improve marketing effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with functional analytics teams to enhance targeting across card and beyond-card ecosystems using GenAI-driven solutions.
Understand current model usage landscape and partner with Adobe product and tech teams to integrate targeting models powered by Gen AI into the Flywheel ecosystem.
Shape the Flywheel roadmap through daily collaboration with marketing, product, analytics, modelling, and other cross-functional teams.
Ensure targeting objectives remain strong and protected as capabilities transition into the Flywheel environment.
Partner across Business Units to align teams, streamline decision-making, and drive unified execution.
Keep LT informed and aligned on key decisions, dependencies, and directional shifts to ensure transparency and governance.
Embed GenAI capabilities across workflows to elevate targeting precision, automation, and personalization at scale.
Mentor and guide team members to build GenAI-centric analytical capabilities and accelerate delivery of high-impact solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
MBA or Master’s in a quantitative field.
3 years of analytics, data science & Gen-AI experience.
Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, vector databases, and GenAI deployment.
Experience using statistical techniques (hypothesis testing, regression, KNN, chi-square).
Strong programming skills (Python, SQL, PySpark) and familiarity with GenAI platforms (OpenAI, Vertex AI, Azure OpenAI).
Ability to work across matrix teams and communicate complex AI-driven insights effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with commercial data, customer lifecycle analytics.

Salary Range: $103,750.00 to $174,750.00 annually bonus benefits
