American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the global leader in payment solutions for Small, Medium (SME) and Global and Large (G&L) enterprises. The Senior Manager will report to the Director, Corporate Card Product – Spend Capacity and play a key role in evolving American Express’s Corporate Card capabilities. This role will shape and drive the positioning and customer experience for spend capacity and underwriting features, ensuring customers have the clarity, transparency, and tools they need to confidently optimize their spending power.

  • Support the development and testing of digital capabilities and tools that increase transparency and customer confidence.

  • Leverage data, field insights, and customer feedback to continuously improve the NPSL experience in partnership with cross-functional teams.

Support Spend Capacity & Controls for Global & Large Clients

  • Serve as the Global & Large segment point of contact for Card Member (CM) limit (spend control) capabilities on the At Work platform, maintaining strong awareness of customer needs and usage patterns.

  • Partner with cross-platform teams to promote alignment and consistency in spend control capabilities and customer experience.

  • Support awareness of spend control capabilities by ensuring clear enablement resources are in place (e.g., Help Center content, Field Trainings).

Monitor Competitive & Market Trends

  • Support ongoing competitive intelligence efforts related to spend capacity and underwriting.

  • Translate market and competitor insights into clear recommendations and share synthesized findings with key stakeholders to inform decision-making.
