Job Description
Investigate, identify, and implement state-of-the-art technology platforms that drive productivity and efficiency gains in multiple business areas. Act as a Cloud Application Engineer in his/her area of expertise and critically evaluate relevant technological advances and integrate this knowledge into new business technology solutions.
Responsibilities
Directly involve in the design and operation of large-scale cloud services (AWS), including troubleshooting and performance tuning
This position demands critical thinking skills, ability to quickly understand existing systems and the ability to work in agile environments.
Building Cloud Native Services using REST APIs, Microservices based architectures, and containerized technologies
Building in high-scale distributed systems and fault tolerant design
Develop Agile and Test-driven development methodologies
Develop the software development lifecycle, including version control (git), CICD pipelines, testing, and regional cloud deployments
Understand and adhere to corporate standards regarding applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies, including code of conduct, safety, GxP compliance, data security, and the software development lifecycle.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree with 7 years’ experience; Master’s degree with 6 years’ experience; PhD with 2 years’ experience in Information Technology industry
Pharmaceutical industry experience strongly preferred
Strong hands-on technology experience developing applications on AWS cloud
Proven implementation of creative technology solutions that advanced the business.
Experience working with Java, Python or other modern programming languages
A passion to learn new software technologies
Excellent written and oral English communication skills.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. ?

Salary: $94,000 - $178,500
