How will you make an impact in this role?
The B2B Product Management team within Corporate Business Product Management (CBPM) in Global Commercial services manages and develops solutions and digital products for multiple growth segments of American Express. Specifically, we lead the B2B payment payments that drive over $40B in volume across multiple customer segments and markets.
B2B Product Management is seeking a Director to drive product and platform enhancements on the B2B portfolio including Enterprise-level initiatives to lower cost of funds, adherence to evolving regulatory standards, and groundwork for new product launches. Included in this work is the need to understand our customer’s usage of our products intricately to define capabilities required in a future state model and partner with colleagues across American Express to ensure customer commitments and expectations are met through each initiative.
Minimum Qualifications:
Relevant experience in Product Management, Operations or B2B
Good knowledge of B2B payments and associated customer needs
Strong relationship management skills across a diverse network, including collaborating with and influencing partners both in-person and virtually
Experience and comfort in managing a large-scale migration of customers and working with internal and external parties to create structure and guidance throughout process
Intricate understanding of global B2B platforms with multiple instances
Strong relationship management skills across a diverse network, including collaborating with and influencing partners both in-person and virtually
Strong organizational skills with knowledge of operating mandates at large companies and ability to create and refine high-level customer needs prioritization
History of people leadership, leading teams directly, effectively managing, engaging and developing talent
Demonstrates a growth mindset that embraces change and is adaptable to a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualification
Ability to handle multiple large initiatives and unify them into a work plan.
Strong project management skills; ability to handle multiple requests and prioritize accordingly
Operational pragmatism and proven complex problem-solving skills
Qualifications
Salary Range: $150,000.00 to $225,000.00 annually bonus equity (if applicable) benefits
