Description

This role is for a Senior Engineering Program Manager who can partner with stakeholder and engineering teams to deliver innovative features that shape the future of Apple Podcasts.

We're seeking a hands-on EPM who thrives in ambiguity and drives complex, customer-facing products to launch under tight timelines. You'll be deeply involved in requirements analysis, technical design, testing, and cross-functional collaboration—owning outcomes, not just tasks.

You have:

• Strong program management fundamentals with a track record of shipping at scale
• Excitement about AI/ML technology and its potential to transform user experiences
• Personal accountability and stake in product success
• Ability to bring clarity to complexity and build strong cross-functional relationships
• Deep judgment, technical curiosity, and relentless focus on delivery
• Passion for creating products used by millions

This role requires someone who communicates with clarity, navigates ambiguity with confidence, and is committed to continuous improvement—for yourself and your team.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6+ years of technical program management experience delivering software products from inception to launch

  • Proven track record managing complex, cross-functional projects across the full software development lifecycle

  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to engage deeply in architectural and design discussions

  • Experience working with distributed teams across multiple time zones

  • BA/BS in technical field or equivalent industry experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience shipping machine learning or generative AI features to customers at scale

  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous challenges and drive actionable solutions

  • Outstanding communication and presentation abilities—written and verbal—that resonate with audiences from engineers to executives

  • Proven success delivering complex, customer-facing products under aggressive timelines in fast-paced environments

  • Experience launching global products through effective collaboration across Product, Engineering, Analytics, Design, Operations, and QA teams

  • Superior organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to juggle competing priorities gracefully

  • Natural relationship builder who influences without authority and earns trust across all levels

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and deeply accountable—you take ownership and follow through

  • Strong facilitation skills for requirements gathering, design reviews, stakeholder alignment, and executive reporting

  • Passion for podcasts

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree
