Apple Worldwide Events is the team that oversees Apple’s highest visibility global events and experiences. We facilitate the development and delivery of world-class in-person and online experiences across multiple mediums and platforms.

We’re looking for a highly-motivated, tech-fluent, team-player to join us as an event systems coordinator and comms manager. This person will manage attendee lists, guest schedules, layout copy for email and web, and publish content through a CMS after performing end-to-end QA/QC for all communications.

You should be adaptable and versatile—detail-oriented, agile, and ready to adjust as plans change. We need a strategic thinker and skilled communicator with a deep passion for delivering exceptional experiences. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on media/influencer, customer, internal, and Apple partner events.

The people here at Apple don’t just create products — they build the kind of wonder that’s revolutionized entire industries. It’s the diversity of those people and their ideas that inspires the innovation that runs through everything we do. At Apple, inclusion is a shared responsibility, and we work together to foster a culture where everyone belongs and is inspired to do their best work!

Description

You’ll work with our Interactive Experience team to support program registration and platform communications by developing and managing project timelines. Expect to communicate deadline changes across multiple teams while archiving past deliverables. You’ll also maintain registration records by assembling and managing various attendee lists and schedules.

Our team utilizes event and session content management systems, attendee assignment and scheduling tools, guest-facing and administrative websites, native apps, HTML emails, SMS notifications, and more. You’ll synchronize content delivery across these formats and platforms, as well as set up staging environments for end-to-end QA/UAT/QC ahead of content delivery. You should be tech-savvy with an interest in learning and improving programs and systems.

Events often lack straightforward solutions; a good teammate knows how to collaborate, even in high-stakes and ambiguous situations. The right candidate is someone who thrives in this fast-paced, but rewarding environment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Event or Project Management experience in a corporate or agency environment.

  • Proficient in spreadsheet applications, with experience using a wide range of functions and formulas.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated expertise in compiling and managing attendee lists while coordinating assignments across diverse systems.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Comfortable tracking and publishing content prepared in a variety of languages for communications — fluency not required.

  • Experience modifying Velocity script and/or JavaScript/JSON.

  • Proven record utilizing a CMS to deliver and manage communications.

  • Experience with on-site arrival, event registration, and event communications support ie: email, SMS, and push notifications.

  • Skilled at modifying HTML/CSS for web and email customization.

  • Experience creating Tableau dashboards a plus.

  • Demonstrated interest in user experience improvements across mediums.

  • Comfortable leveraging system logic, alongside content categorization, to deliver appropriately personalized communications.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a bonus for copyediting or copywriting experience.

  • Experience with QA/QC testing for communications across virtual and in-person events, including use-case and persona creation.

  • Ability to build and manage QA/QC testing grids for pre-flight of content publication.
