The Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence (TA COE) is seeking a Senior Project Manager, Recruitment Strategy & Capabilities, to support and partner with a cross-functional Recruitment Product workstream, optimizing processes and ensuring successful implementation of new systems and enhanced capabilities.
This unique opportunity will strengthen the recruitment function by enhancing the digital experience for our hiring leaders, colleagues, and candidates. This role relies heavily on forming close relationships across multiple partner teams across Colleague Experience Group (CEG) and all of American Express to set design goals, translate business and user needs, and craft a great end-to-end experience for Candidates, Hiring Leaders, and Recruiters.
Responsibilities:
Digital Capabilities Strategy & Execution:
Collaborate with TA Leadership and global stakeholders in the Recruitment Product Workstream to create a comprehensive strategy that supports delivering a great end to end experience for a large, global, organization by:
Minimizing manual tasks through automation
Increasing efficiency
Emphasizing compliance
Leverage strategic mindset to identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation
Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables
Keep Talent Acquisition leadership apprised of progress through regular updates
Create metrics, monitor progress, track KPIs, synthesize test results, and adjust strategies/projects as needed
Collaborate effectively with partners such as Technology, Recruiting Operations, Colleague Risk & Systems, Recruitment Marketing, and Change Management by building key relationships to identify and manage dependencies
System Implementation:
Partner closely with other stakeholders to lead the end-to-end implementation of new systems ensuring seamless integration with existing systems, including customizing workflows and training users
Monitor project milestones, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery.
Process Optimization:
Support ad hoc policy and process initiatives through a centralized approach on behalf of Talent Acquisition
Evaluate current recruitment processes, monitor engagement requests, and identify/prioritize opportunities for enhancements
Constantly strive to streamline workflows through automation and enhance user experience.
Implement best practices, including external benchmarking, to increase efficiency, save time, and reduce time-to-fill.
Required Qualifications:
5 years professional experience
Demonstrated Talent Acquisition / Recruitment experience
Exceptional project management skills (Project Plans & Strategy Mapping)
Proven ability to work with multiple partners in a large, global, environment to create alignment and drive results across multiple simultaneous workstreams
Excellent interpersonal skills – ability to collaborate effectively in a team and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
Strong problem-solving abilities and quantitative aptitude; intellectual curiosity
Strong professional presence; excellent communication skills, positive attitude and a bias to action
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
PMP certification
Experience working directly with technical teams
Qualifications
Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually bonus benefits
