Description
APPLE INC has the following available in San Diego, California. Work on Bluetooth software quality validation of iOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS based platforms. Qualify the wireless features and software for the latest iPhones/iPads, Apple Watches, Apple TV’s, Mac OS and AirPods product lines. Develop test cases / test plans and perform stability testing for new and existing connectivity features. Develop test case automation using python, Objective C programming. Apply deep understanding of Bluetooth and Wireless protocol knowledge to analyze and debug issues based on test results, logs, sniffer captures (Ellisys and Wireshark) and propose solutions to problems. Design and Develop innovative ideas that solve automation and execution problems. Communicate and collaborate with cross functional teams, developers and vendors to drive issues to closure. Ensure the stability and reliability of our WiFi/BT chipsets and products. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $139,500 - $210,100/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications
Master's Degree or Foreign Equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required:
Testing BT SW using automation and RF sniffer analysis
Software engineering to ensure software stability without introducing regressions and understanding of Software Development and QA lifecycle process
Proficient in analyzing Bluetooth Logs, sniffer and provide root cause
Experience in BREDR and BLE profile level testing including, but not limited to – HFP, A2DP, HID, AVRCP, PBAP
Testing with different Bluetooth devices including car-kits, smart watch, or headsets
Wireless communication concepts and Bluetooth technology to test wireless Bluetooth
