As part of the Clinical Products team, Apple is looking for a Clinical Producer to guide overall development of health products in collaboration with multi-functional teams. In partnership with clinicians, you will identify key areas of focus with consideration for Apple's products, technologies, and potential for customer impact.
Description
You will serve as the node across teams to shepherd end-to-end development from concept to launch of Apple's health products. You will work with the design, engineering, and regulatory teams on feature definition, user experience, product requirements, and detailed tradeoffs. The ideal candidate has shown success in building excellent consumer features, possesses a deep understanding of developing and validating health products, has worked closely with clinical counterparts, is effective at prioritizing deliverables and timelines to ensure program milestones are accomplished, and demonstrates an avid dedication for driving positive change to health care. You will pinpoint clinical opportunities and innovative solutions in the health and wellness space. Other responsibilities include:
• Partner with clinicians to define clinical requirements, utility, and use cases
• Distill clinical expertise into requirements and principles to advise product development
• Support clinicians with crafting clinical validation studies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build high-level features and product concepts
• Work with engineering teams on feasibility assessment studies to evaluate product concepts and technology capabilities
• Support design and human factors teams with assessing product usability, safety, and effectiveness
• Facilitate high level strategic discussions, pulling out key themes from discussions to drive teams to clarity
• Collaborate with regulatory and quality partners on product submissions to domestic and international regulators
• Communicate and manage relationships with a diverse group of internal and external collaborators
• Coordinate executive reviews for product concept and development milestones, owning executive review decks, distilling and synthesizing information, and articulating content to be readily understood by all cross functional partners
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering, science, business or equivalent field
5+ years of experience building digital consumer products
Consistent track record of defining successful feature concepts and driving product development from concept to launch
Stellar interpersonal skills with the ability to build consensus with large cross-functional teams and individuals at all levels
Excellent prioritization and time management skills, with the willingness and ability to flex between critical thinking and tactical execution throughout the day
Preferred Qualifications
10+ years of product development experience in the health care space, preferably in regulated medical devices and/or digital health products
Keen eye on user experience, able to construct thought-provoking objectives and customer-centric use cases
Independent self-starter who thrives in sophisticated and ambiguous environments
Familiarity with machine learning, algorithm development, and the application of large language models in product experiences.
Experience collaborating with hardware teams to define or refine sensing technologies
Proven ability to build rapport, credibility and influence others to get results across a large matrix organization
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $165,500 and $248,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
