Summary
The Hardware Technology (HWT) Engineering Operations team is looking for an experienced and highly organized Project Manager to lead and implement lab and workspace planning initiatives. This role involves end-to-end management of physical space modifications, lab tool installations, reconfigurations, and strategic reshuffles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multi-functional coordination, process improvement, and communication with both technical teams and leadership.
You will be tasked with being the primary point of contact to teams across HWT for their space planning needs including workplace, labs, and site-wide amenities. You will be maintaining utilization strategies by supporting executive level reporting, analytics and strategic real estate portfolio decisions. You will work multi-functional with real estate, engineering DRIs, and facilities to deliver world class customer support to our teams.

Description
Manage Physical Space Projects: Coordinate all new and ongoing space and lab modifications, including tool installations, reconfigurations, and infrastructure adjustments
Tactical Execution: Coordinate tactical reshuffles, headcount allocations, and lab/office moves in alignment with business needs and timelines
Multi-functional Collaboration: Serve as the interface between Project Management and Engineering DRIs for effective data gathering and execution alignment
Executive Communication: Build project justification slides and send formal approval communications to leadership stakeholders
Project Reporting & Scheduling: Lead monthly project update calls, manage meeting logistics for recurring reviews
Tool Management: Maintain up-to-date status and progress tracking within the Wrike project management tool
Process Improvement: Own and improve the project intake/request process to drive greater efficiency and team member satisfaction
Strategic Planning: Analyze and balance supply vs. demand forecasts to proactively plan and recommend space reshuffle strategies
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors and relevant work experience
Must have Tririga software, Wrike, OR Excel/Numbers experience
Preferred Qualifications
Proven experience managing multi-functional initiatives involving physical infrastructure or technical spaces
Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills
Experience coordinating between technical and non-technical teams
Proficiency in project management tools (Wrike experience preferred)
Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Strong critical thinking and data analysis skills
Background in lab management, strategic space planning, facilities planning, or related technical fields
Experience working with leadership and executive partners
Familiarity with supply/demand planning and move strategy guidelines
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $48.65 and $81.15/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
