Description

As a Senior Wireless Connectivity Systems Architect, you will lead the definition of product roadmaps, silicon selection, hardware radiated specifications, and new feature scoping for wireless connectivity technologies such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Thread, and UWB.

You’ll drive alignment across global cross-functional teams and key ecosystem partners to define and deliver next-generation wireless connectivity experiences that truly matter to users. You’ll guide system integration efforts through clear product specifications, user impact studies, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure outstanding wireless performance.

Minimum Qualifications

• M.S. degree with 10+ years of relevant work experience

• Industry experience in wireless system architecture and engineering

• Excellent knowledge of wireless connectivity technologies and standards, including Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11 family), Bluetooth, 802.15.4, UWB, etc.

• Solid knowledge in RF lineup analysis, receiver/transmitter architectures, calibration/compensation techniques, and product integration challenges

• Strong problem-solving skills, collaborative mindset and excellent interpersonal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years of industry experience in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or UWB system architecture for consumer products

• Deep knowledge of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or UWB chipset architecture and high-level specifications

• Deep understanding of global regulatory requirements for unlicensed spectrum, including FCC, ETSI, and other regional standards

• Experience in AI/ML and wireless applications

• Proficiency in RF simulation tools such as MATLAB

• Hands-on experience using RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, vector signal generators, channel emulators, etc.

• Excellent documentation and communication skills with the ability to work independently, mentor others, and demonstrate innovation

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $272,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
