That happens because every one of us shares a belief that we can make something wonderful and share it with the world, changing lives for the better. It's the diversity of our people and their thinking that inspires the innovation that runs through everything we do. When we bring everybody in, we can do the best work of our lives. Here, you'll do more than join something - you'll add something.
The Photos QE team is dedicated to delivering world class quality for the Photos app across Apple's platforms. From capturing cherished personal moments to preserving, enriching, and sharing those memories with others, we work to exceed the expectations of our many users every day. Your daily work will involve iterative software validation of both existing and new tools and technologies, utilizing both manual and automated approaches. This role requires someone who takes initiative, communicates proactively, and can balance multiple concurrent projects. You'll leverage modern tools, including AI-assisted development tools and test automation, to enhance your productivity and impact.

  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership and drive work independently

  • Ability to balance multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines while keeping to a holistic quality vision

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable sharing considered opinions and seeking the same from others

  • Experience testing Photos, Camera, or similar digital media applications, including ingest, sharing, editing, organizing, and intelligent experiences

  • Experience testing consumer-facing applications on iOS and macOS

  • Strong knowledge of Apple's hardware and software ecosystem

  • Experience with test automation using Python, Swift, XCTest, or similar frameworks

  • Experience with automation within the Apple ecosystem, including Jenkins, remote VM, automation triage, and CI processes
