We are seeking an experienced Director of Data Management in Cyber Security to lead our data management team in driving the development and implementation of a robust data management strategy that supports our Cyber Analytics Data Ecosystem. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing a team of highly talented individuals, managing large budgets, and driving innovation and delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Management:

  • Lead a team of data management professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and coaching to ensure the team's success.

  • Develop and implement a data management strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.

  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.

Financial Management:

  • Manage a budget of over $3 million USD, ensuring effective allocation of resources to meet business objectives.

  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure transparency and accountability.

Technology Audits and Compliance:

  • Participate in technology audits for frameworks such as SOC2, PCI-DSS, and other relevant compliance standards.

  • Ensure the team's data management practices align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

Data Management:

  • Develop and implement data management processes and procedures to ensure data quality, integrity, and security.

  • Design and implement data architectures that support the Cyber Analytics Data Ecosystem, including data lakehouse, datamarts, and application stores.

  • Ensure the adoption of industry recognized ETL frameworks that hydrate data lakehouse, datamarts, and other application stores.

Technical Expertise:

  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in data management, including traditional and distributed RDBMS style technologies (e.g., MS SQL, Postgresql, Apache Iceberg).

  • Familiarity with data flow and data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Nifi, Dagster, Apache Spark).

  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Github) and enterprise capabilities in the area of data management.

  • Experience with Cloud Service Provider platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)

Stakeholder Management:

  • Prioritize and deliver multiple stakeholder requirements for data integration within the Cyber Analytics Data Ecosystem.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data management practices align with business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in people management, with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or an equivalent field.

  • Strong financial management skills, with experience managing budgets over $3 million USD.

  • Experience with technology audits for frameworks such as SOC2, PCI-DSS, and other relevant compliance standards.

  • Strong technical expertise in data management, including ETL frameworks, data lakes, datamarts, and application stores.

  • Familiarity with traditional and distributed RDBMS & NoSQL style technologies, data flow and data processing frameworks, and CI/CD tools.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

  • At least one security certification such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP etc.

Qualifications

Salary Range: $170,000.00 to $255,000.00 annually bonus equity (if applicable) benefits
