Description

APPLE INC has the following available in Seattle, Washington. Prototype unique app and experience ideas on Apple’s spatial computing visionOS platform. Apply design and product sense to influence product definition in the new categories of Spatial Computing, Artificial Intelligence, and Productivity. Lead feature design discussions with partners from multiple organizations at Apple (Human Interface, UI Framework, Operating System, etc.). Drive towards alignment on clear and coherent feature specifications. Apply advanced math skills to solve unique spatial UI and UX problems. Develop and polish flat screen and spatial UI and UX features to the standard of Apple products and the delight of Apple customers. Collaborate with lower-stack system software teams to implement system-level software solutions that can span and empower multiple user-facing apps and use cases. Collaborate with QA teams to benchmark and enforce quality in our software code submission. Develop, monitor, and maintain engineering processes and cadence across local and cross-functional partner teams.
40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $135,400 - $204,000/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

  • 2 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:

  • Utilizing programming languages, frameworks, and game engines (including Unity3D, C#, and MRTK) for developing 3D AR/VR applications.

  • Applying knowledge of basic linear algebra, including solving 2D and 3D object transform problems.

  • Designing and developing novel solutions utilizing spatial computing based on real world customer problem analysis.

  • Collaborating with design and customer engagement teams, including developing and iterating user-facing features and experience in VR/AR applications.

  • Utilizing and aggregating functionalities provided by different software frameworks.

  • Developing and debugging software solutions across multiple layers of an Operating System stack.

  • Building and demoing software features to stakeholders, leading and engaging in conversation about user experiences, and experience in technical or architectural discussions.
