Job Description
The primary objective of this position is to lead the financial planning processes for US Therapeutics (USTx) Latest Best Estimates (LBE) planning cycles. The role ensures the quality, consistency, and reliability of data and summary deliverables submitted to leadership. Additionally, this position provides USTx Leadership with insights into risks and opportunities by analyzing results and collaborating with USTx Business Units.
Core Responsibilities
Financial Planning and Analysis:
Prepare and lead USTx business units through LBE cycles, ensuring alignment with USTx Management, Global Commercial, and Corporate objectives for each cycle. This includes consolidating total budgets of approximately $40Bn in Net Sales and $30Bn in Division Margin.
Coordinate timelines and deliverables and standardize processes and content across organizations.
Develop guidance and content for each cycle submission and communicate content requirements and submission timelines to USTx Business Units.
Provide thoughtful analysis to help management understand changes in the business versus key benchmarks, including the annual plan, prior forecasts, and prior year actuals.
Partner with USTx’s Finance Future FIT, Forecasting, Pricing, and SG&A Centers of Excellence teams to drive finance process transformation.
People Leadership and Development:
Delegate tasks and coach staff to ensure optimal support for all required financial planning submissions.
Directly supervise one report.
Qualifications
Required:
7+ years progressive accounting or finance experience
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
Strong understanding of financial planning processes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Solid understanding of automated accounting systems such SAP and BPC. Skillful with Power BI or other data visualization tools
Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office, primarily Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to solve business problems through the proactive identification of issues and subsequent collection, analysis, and interpretation of related data
Experience working independently as well as team environments and integrating activities across multiple functions / divisions
Preferred:
CPA and / or MBA in Accounting or Finance
Solid understanding of CFMs, SOX controls and other financial policies

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. Salary: $106,500 - $202,500
