We are seeking a Senior Manager , Expense Management Partnerships to lead high visibility partnerships that help American Express meet our customer’s evolving expense management needs. This individual will play an integral role in defining and developing unique new opportunities, working cross-functionally to deliver on our product vision, and creating a best-in-class customer experience within the partner ecosystem.
The ideal candidate exhibits strong communication and organizational skills, is a dynamic leader and has a proven record of excellence operating independently and within a high performing team environment.
How will you make an impact in this role?
Provide strategic thought leadership to help define our expense management strategy
Define business case and create CBA to support strategy and secure investment
Oversee day-to-day relationship with high visibility strategic partners
Own product positioning and go-to-market strategy for product launches
Translate business needs into a prioritized product roadmap and superior customer experience
Partner cross functionally with key stakeholders to deliver new digital products and features
Monitor and report on product performance to identify areas for improvement
Develop executive-level decks to influence senior stakeholders and secure strategic buy-in
Minimum Qualifications
3 years of experience in strategy, product management or business development
Customer-first mindset
Demonstrates strong strategic thinking and intellectual curiosity
Proven ability to forge and maintain relationships and navigate a matrixed organization
Superior communication skills with ability to translate detail and complexity into clear and influential arguments
Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to achieve successful results while working in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrates a deep interest and knowledge of competitive landscape and market trends
Strong financial acumen and analytical skill set
High proficiency in PowerPoint
Bachelor’s degree required
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or equivalent preferred

Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually bonus benefits
The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we’ll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
