The Manager, Finance Operations will oversee P&Ls, financial reporting, and analysis for Customer Care, B2B, and Product Personalization within Operations. This role requires strong communication, analytical, and team-building skills to drive accountability and improve operations based on financial data, KPIs, and business understanding. The manager will provide financial support, analytics, and leadership, partnering with leadership to manage expenses, identify efficiencies and gaps, and enhance customer experience. They will objectively assess operations and financial performance, offering ideas for improved profitability and best practices.
This is an on-site position (Monday through Thursday) based out of our Northbrook, IL HQ office with the flexibility to work remotely on Fridays
A day in the life as a Manager, Finance Operations...
Partner with and influence functional area experts to establish annual operating plans, ongoing monthly forecasts for expenses and related KPIs, and perform ad hoc analysis
Lead cross-functional key stakeholders (other FP&A partners, Buying, Inventory Planning, etc.) to ensure groups are aligned around key financial and operational objectives
Identify areas of financial and operational opportunities and work to drive accountability and improvement
Manage executive level reporting for performance monitoring and reporting for field teams to meet business and operational needs
Partner with functional area experts to identify areas of opportunity through financial analysis
Analyze variances in financial and operational drivers

Strong ability to link metrics to operations to be able to identify actionable areas of opportunity
Strong problem solving skills
Strong financial acumen with the ability to understand and build financial models
Knowledge of operations management and merchandise/ retail finance
Effective communication skills with ability to present to senior management
Elevate the financial literacy of the company through the communication of financial performance, variance analysis and financial goals
Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple projects
Demonstrated ability to be flexible to changing business needs and priorities of the organization
We’d love to hear from you if you have…
5+ years in Financial Planning, Analysis or Accounting
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA /CPA/CFA or masters in related field preferred
Excellent proficiency with MS Excel, Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Essbase, Peoplesoft General Ledger
Experience in project management
Previous retail experience working with merchandising and inventory planning a plus
Minimum Starting Rate: $90,000.00 Annually
Up to: $130,000.00 Annually
Pay ranges will be adjusted upward as needed to comply with applicable state and local law. In addition to your salary, based on your role, associates may be eligible for other compensation including bonuses, sales incentives, and long term incentives.
