DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Warehouse Coordinator – Level III to join our team specializing in Logistics for our Cummins Inc. facility in Ladson, SC .

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Efficient Coordination : By effectively coordinating operations across various areas like Inbound, Outbound, and Kitting, you will ensure smooth and efficient workflows.

  • Quality Assurance : By following quality procedures and performing thorough checks, you'll minimize cost and quality issues, ensuring high standards are maintained.

  • Operational Excellence : Demonstrating high competency in core work skills and maintaining required cycle times will contribute to operational efficiency.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Customer Focus : Build strong relationships with customers and deliver solutions that meet their needs and expectations.

  • Decision Quality : Make timely and effective decisions to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.

  • Mode Selection Expertise : Evaluate and select the best transportation modes and equipment types to balance cost, quality, and time for optimal shipping methods.

  • Trade Knowledge Application : Apply your understanding of trade regulations to minimize risks and costs associated with international trade.

  • Inventory Control Skills : Manage physical inventory effectively to ensure accuracy and meet customer expectations.

  • Warehouse Operations Proficiency : Utilize warehousing tools and methodologies to achieve defined metrics for both inbound and outbound operations.

Education/Experience

  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

  • A two-year University degree from an accredited program in Business, Engineering or a relevant field of study preferred.

  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

  • Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience in a related field such as logistics, warehousing, and third-party logistics provider management.

  • Implementing and managing operational systems, processes, and policies to support organizational goals.

  • Coordinating with department heads to align operational strategies across the organization.

  • Monitoring and evaluating operational performance and recommending improvements.

  • Providing guidance and support to operations personnel.

Qualifications

  • Microsoft office (word, excel)

  • _Experience with Management systems (WMS- Oracle SAP) _

  • _PIV experience (Forklift, Reach, Tugger) _
