Description
Apple's Platform Architecture group is seeking a highly motivated Simulation and Control Systems Design Engineer to contribute to the development of new thermal control algorithms. You will be responsible for developing System Identification and learning techniques to model and simulate different power/performance/thermal characteristics in our products.
Minimum Qualifications
B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or similar engineering degree.
Experience implementing Control Systems in Embedded Microcontroller environments.
Experience with coding languages such as C++, Python, or Matlab.
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years relevant industry expericne.
M.S. or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
Deep knowledge of System Identification algorithms, Estimation Theory, Classical and Modern Control Systems Theory, and Statistical Learning Algorithms.
Strong interpersonal and verbal/written/presentational skills.
