Description
APPLE INC has the following available in Austin, Texas. Define requirements for data captured across support processes and applications. Partner with other organizations to ingest and validate data. Assist in educating consumers in applying the data optimally. Create custom application-based solutions for managing machine learning data inputs. Optimize database views for performance and stability. Validate test data from internal applications in both UAT and production. Triage, research and respond to support requests from analytics organizations regarding data warehouse issues. Build automated data pipelines to migrate information between systems. Implement support strategies to achieve operational support goals – not limited to the Data Readiness organization. Develop and publish documentation for assigned projects. Present to leadership on updates, new ideas, and discuss technical solutions to business challenges. Maximize data development using appropriate tools, standard methodologies, and techniques – through cost-savings, process improvement and/or infrastructure enhancements. 40 hours/week.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.
1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required:
Use Oracle to handle transformation in database applications.
Use Teradata to report in database applications.
Use Snowflake to report in database applications.
Use Python to script.
Use Tableau to handle visualization.
Use Business Objects to handle supplier analyst (vendor) reporting.
Use Kafka pipelines to transform data.
