Apple’s Wireless Software Architecture team is seeking talented, highly motivated and self-directed engineers to work across layers on cutting edge wireless technologies. The position involves developing core wireless technologies that solves everyday problems for customers using iPhone, iPad, Watch and other wireless product lines.

Description

We are seeking an experienced iOS/macOS Developer with deep expertise in middleware, framework, and API development to join our innovative team. This role requires a strong foundation in both iOS development and system-level architecture.

The perfect candidate combines strong iOS development skills with systems programming expertise. You should be comfortable working at multiple levels of the software stack, from high-level Swift/Objective-C application code down to low-level C system interactions when needed. Experience with open source projects and IoT protocols will set you apart.

This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology at the intersection of mobile development and system-level programming.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in developing middleware, frameworks, and APIs.

• Programming Languages: Proficiency in Swift, Objective-C.

• Asynchronous Programming: Proven experience with non-blocking, asynchronous interface coding.

• Multi-Threading: Experience with multi-threaded programming and strong knowledge of operating systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing middleware software in OS daemons and driver interaction.

• Background in home automation development.

• Working knowledge of IoT protocols.

• Experience with open source software development.

• C++, or object oriented programming knowledge.

• Clear and concise communication skills.

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Strong passion for product quality and meticulous attention to detail.

• Innovative problem-solving approach with a curious, inquisitive mindset.
