The Colleague Services organization at American Express plays a critical role in providing the best-in-class services, capabilities, data, and insights that enable a great colleague experience. The organization builds and evolves essential foundational and operational products and services to enable Colleague Experience Group (CEG) and the business. This is an exciting opportunity to be a key contributing member of the Colleague Servicing Organization.
The Payroll Services Some of these roles responsible:
Provide guidance in the strategy, design, and maintenance of the Dayforce system
Oversee the daily operation of the Dayforce system
Responsible for auditing all Dayforce Payroll/Time & Labor system configuration
Create all system configuration documentation and maintain accordingly
Monitor Payroll/Time & Labor compliance regulations for system impact
Consult with key stakeholders to ensure data integrity and system testing outcomes
Collaboration with Payroll Manager, Tax Manager- New compliance regulations
Drive system learning for current and new American Express payroll colleagues
Creation and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures documentation
Drive Compliance utilizing SOX controls and audits
Validate all interfaces and data transmission between all tangent systems
Form strong collaboration with American Express departments that are connected to payroll production and system
Apply knowledge of Dayforce system and reporting capabilities to create analytics / data request
Define and manager system security standards and maintain appropriate records and roles
Serve as primary contact for Dayforce team
Lead cross function projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience managing HR/Payroll/Time & Labor Systems
Knowledge of HR/Payroll/Time & Labor Systems, & Compliance Enforcement through system configuration
Minimum of 3-4 years’ experience on Dayforce
Experience with global and US data privacy
Competencies/Skills Required:
Strong analytical background & critical thinking ability
Use formal project management skills to execute maintenance and updates
Responsiveness to organizational changes and transformational efforts
Demonstrated ability maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for ongoing processing requirements
Proven problem solving and decision-making abilities
Team player with a positive attitude
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficient computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Visio)
Qualifications
Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually bonus benefits
