Imagine what you could do here. At Apple, new ideas have a way of becoming outstanding products, services, and customer experiences very quickly. Bring passion and dedication to your job, and there's no telling what you could accomplish!

Apple’s Sales organization generates the revenue needed to fuel our ongoing development of products and services. This, in turn, enriches the lives of hundreds of millions of people around the world. We are, in many ways, the face of Apple to our largest customers.

Apple's US Decision Intelligence (DI) team is looking for a dedicated individual who is passionate about crafting, implementing, and operating AI solutions that have a direct and measurable impact on Apple Sales and its customers.

Description

We’re seeking a visionary US AI UX/UI Lead to lead the end-to-end user experience strategy and design execution for AI-powered internal tools, including chat agents, insight delivery, and context-aware workflows. You’ll define design patterns and interaction models that scale across platforms and use cases, ensuring a consistent and intuitive experience regardless of backend complexity.

This role will operate in both capacities, to augment existing AI roadmap, as well as innovate and trailblazing new frontier tech projects, crafting AI experiences that reduce time to insights and catalyze decision making. AI is a team sport, and in your role, you will be key in leading and influencing teams on the translation of business problems and questions into GenAI solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years in UX/UI design, with 3+ in data, enterprise, or AI product environments.

  • Eagerness and ability to learn new skills and solve dynamic problems in an encouraging and expansive environment.

  • Ability to lead development of AI experiences from start to finish.

  • Expertise with CSS libraries (such as Tailwind, Bootstrap) for responsive, scalable designs.

  • Comfort with ambiguity. Ability to architect a full orchestrator and business context layer for sales.

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating LLM/AI interactions, system design, and experimentation.

  • Experience articulating and translating business questions into AI solutions.

  • Deep understanding of Sketch or Figma, design systems, and design token management.

  • Familiarity with telemetry and user feedback loops for continuous improvement.

  • Experience working with AI & data science teams.

  • Knowledge of project management and productivity tools such as Wrike.

  • Strong time management skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.

  • Able to balance competing priorities, long-term projects, and ad hoc requirements.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, constantly evolving business environment.

  • B.S Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, MS in Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Information Science in Interaction Design or equivalent industry experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Front-end development and frameworks (e.g. React, Vue).

  • Experience designing interfaces for GenAI tools, AI agents, or NLP systems.

  • Understanding of prompt design, fallback UX, and agent transparency models.

  • Familiarity with enterprise UX constraints and scalable frameworks (e.g., Material, Fluent).

  • Prior experience in sales tools or internal platform design.

  • Portfolio demonstrating your design thinking, hands-on expertise, and problem solving skills.

  • Understanding of the Apple design aesthetic & principles.

  • Experience creating VisionOS & iOS apps is a plus.

  • Advanced Degree (MS or Ph.D.) in Economics, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, or a similar quantitative field are preferred.
