The Technology Sourcing Lead is a subject matter expert responsible for leading the sourcing and procurement activities of complex technology contracts, including software, hardware, and technology services. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders across the technology department to negotiate contracts, manage risks, and ensure optimal value and cost savings for the company. They will leverage their deep understanding of market trends and emerging technologies to drive technology sourcing decisions and secure long-term value with technology vendors.
A day in the life as a Technology Sourcing Lead…
Lead complex negotiations, working directly with vendors to reach agreements on best in class terms, pricing, and service levels
Execute contract redlines, incorporating feedback from multiple stakeholders and ensuring alignment with company interests
Facilitate cross-functional contract review meetings, coordinating with all stakeholders to ensure compliance and accuracy
Independently manages communication with stakeholders, ensuring alignment on contract strategy goals across multiple teams
Lead the contract portfolio process by facilitating intake requests for technology sourcing support, assessing team bandwidth and assigning contracts, overseeing recurring reporting processes with tech stakeholders, and tracking the progress of completed contracts
Oversee multiple contracts and sourcing initiatives, ensuring all tasks are completed on time without compromising quality
Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure contract compliance with relevant regulations and policies
Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices for technology sourcing and procurement
What you’ll bring to the table…
Possess deep expertise in tech sourcing and procurement, encompassing software, hardware, and tech services
Demonstrate exceptional problem solving and negotiation skills, particularly in complex technology deals, with a focus on risk mitigation and long-term value creation
Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills, effectively conveying complex information to senior leadership and cross-functional teams
Analyze cost structures and benchmarking related to technology contracts, optimizing pricing strategies to achieve cost efficiency and alignment with business objectives
Effectively collaborate with stakeholders across various departments, ensuring alignment on sourcing strategies and objectives
Maintain a detail-oriented approach to contract review and risk assessment, identifying potential issues and ensuring alignment with business goals
We’d love to hear from you if you have…
7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and vendor management, with a focus on IT procurement
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, supply chain management, or a related field
Proficiency in sourcing and contract management software (e.g., Ironclad, Agiloft)
Advanced knowledge of financial modeling tools, including Google Sheets
CPSM, CIPS, or other relevant industry certifications are a plus

Minimum Starting Rate: $105,000.00 Annually
Up to: $135,000.00 Annually
Pay ranges will be adjusted upward as needed to comply with applicable state and local law. In addition to your salary, based on your role, associates may be eligible for other compensation including bonuses, sales incentives, and long term incentives.
