American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS) offers powerful backing and support that helps companies of all sizes gain financial savings, control and efficiency. We provide a suite of payment and lending products, solutions for travel and everyday business spending, cross border payments, global currency solutions, and business financing. The Global Commercial Services Marketing team is responsible for creating an end-to-end marketing strategy for our prospect & customer segments around the world.
Within Global Commercial Services Marketing, the Global and US Large Enterprises (G&L) Marketing vision is to deliver essential value to Prospects and Field colleagues through best-in-class B2B marketing. We collaborate with trusted internal and external partners to create globally recognized marketing assets to support our marketing initiatives and Field partners. This team owns and drives all G&L Marketing programs and are looking forward to fueling continued growth in 2025 and beyond.
The Senior Analyst- Digital Marketing will contribute to the G&L Marketing vision by owning or supporting new initiatives, enhancing existing channels or processes, and successfully executing campaigns (from initial submission to final approval) within the G&L Prospect & B2B Marketing team. The Senior Analyst will also collaborate with Marketing Channel Analysts & Managers, Creative Governance, Product, Brand Teams, Legal and Compliance to define campaigns. This role will then work with critical external partners to build and launch campaigns/assets into production. This Senior Analyst will have the opportunity to learn specialized skills such as paid media, website development, reporting, product marketing, project management, and relationship management, as well as becoming an expert on American Express systems, tools and cross functional teams.
This person will join a dynamic and cross functional team, collaborating closely with partners across the Enterprise to support a critical and strategic priority for the company – driving engagement via clear, consistent, and compelling messaging to Decision Makers in the G&L segment.
Key Responsibilities:
Own the end-to-end development of campaigns, including initial creative briefing, applying legal feedback, socializing assets with field partners and other marketing teams, aligning on audience strategy and measuring effectiveness post-launch
Build relationships with GCS Marketing team members and compliance reviewers to enhance cross collaboration
Own and lead close partnerships with external vendors who are crucial to campaign success
Keep a pulse on what channels, capabilities and tools broader marketing teams are leveraging to constantly improve and evolve our own programs
Become an expert and go-to resource for marketing performance data, including leading monthly scorecard reporting on key insights, test and learn strategies and optimization recommendations
Proactively communicate marketing progress, timelines, critical updates and upcoming priorities to leaders
Minimum Qualifications:
Self-starter who can thrive in a rapidly changing, dynamic environment
Experience leading collaboration across internal and external stakeholders to effectively partner on strategic priorities
Ability to understand and interpret data sets and draw insights from the analysis
Familiar with reporting tools such as Adobe Analytics
Creative eye, with a passion for designing visually compelling and effective marketing communications in partnership with creative agencies
Superior project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and initiatives
Curiosity, a willingness to learn & a sense of ownership and accountability
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with executive presence and ability to rally others around a vision
Detail-oriented with a strong process mindset
Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Adobe
Bachelor’s Degree Required
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working within highly regulated, compliance-oriented environments
Experience developing marketing and creative strategies
Website management and/or development experience
Understanding of paid media channels, setting and reporting on KPIs and audience targeting

Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually bonus benefits
