Apple's Global Security team is looking for a Corporate Security Partner to work directly with business units, vendors, and facilities teams to provide security services. Your work will help build solutions to a variety of unique security challenges, ranging from the physical security of sites and events to the protection of our assets. You’ll find develop solutions in order to support our physical security capabilities, increase the efficiency and effectiveness of our operation, and coordinate critical incidents affecting Apple.

Description

As a Corporate Security Partner, you will operate as a strategic and operational leader responsible for protecting people, operations, and business continuity across a dynamic, high-visibility environment. You will partner closely with business units, facilities, and cross-functional teams to assess risk, drive security strategy, and deliver scalable solutions that enable the business to operate securely and efficiently.

This role requires strong judgment, the ability to operate in ambiguity, and ownership of complex security challenges with minimal guidance—consistent with individual job level expectations of independently driving cross-functional outcomes and influencing direction. You will play a key role in leading by example upholding and instilling Global Security values: Service, Integrity, and Awareness. Key responsibilities will include:

Maintain high-level oversight and accountability of corporate sites and event responsibilities serving as as the primary security partner for assigned sites and business functions across Los Angeles
Identify, assess, and prioritize physical security risks, vulnerabilities, and operational gaps
Develop and implement scalable security strategies, procedures, and operational plans
Lead cross-functional coordination with internal partners (facilities, EHS, HR, business units) and external stakeholders (vendors, public safety agencies)
Drive incident response, crisis coordination, and post-incident analysis
Translate ambiguous or evolving business needs into structured security solutions
Influence and align stakeholders without direct authority to achieve security outcomes
Manage vendor performance, deployment strategy, and operational execution standards
Analyze trends, incidents, and operational data to inform decision making and continuous improvement
Contribute to regional and organizational initiatives that extend beyond assigned sites

Minimum Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5-8+ years of experience in corporate security, risk management, or related field

  • Experience working with vendors, contract security, and public safety partners

  • Travel 10-15% of the time, with on-call responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred

  • Relevant certifications or advanced training in security, risk, or program management is a plus

  • Must be able to work with highly confidential information

  • Proven ability to operate independently and solve complex, ambiguous problems

  • Experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders and driving alignment without authority

  • Strong decision-making capability under pressure and in dynamic environments

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results

  • Excellent communication and executive-level presentation skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work under stressful conditions and oftentimes in ambiguous environments
