Description

APPLE INC has the following available in Austin, Texas. Support Apple global enterprise network infrastructure to ensure office and campuses are able to have Apple employees and contractors perform business functions over the network.
Perform both operational support and project-based deployments of office and campus networks to maintain high-availability or expand network services for Apple business. Monitor
network devices for healthy operational status. Restore network services to functional state included wired and wireless network types. Perform hardware and software maintenance for
infrastructure. Perform critical network outage triage support to restore Apple office and campus networks for Apple business to continue as intended. Work with network hardware vendors
for outage resolution. Document all work for compliance and outage history retention. Deploy new hardware in support of business needs. Work with multiple internal groups on security of
network equipment and connected devices. 40 hours/week.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Computer Networking or related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

• 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required:

• Experience in Cisco wired network administration and troubleshooting, and experience working in proprietary support commands, including configuring devices and diagnosing network

• issues on the devices.

• Cisco wireless network administration and troubleshooting to maintain high availability, including experience supporting commands, configuring devices, and diagnosing device network

• issues.

• Experience in Palo Alto Network firewall administration and troubleshooting.

• Experience in Juniper Network administration and troubleshooting.

• Network troubleshooting and documentation to achieve parity across workgroups.

• Experience applying network security functions including access control lists and network security.

• Network path troubleshooting utilities including Dynatrace and Wireshark.

• Experience with IT service management applications including ServiceNow and JIRA.
